The role

Kollabtek is looking for an EGSE and Test Engineer to support one of our clients in the space industry. In this role, you will work closely with the client’s engineering team to develop and deploy Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) used to test satellite electronic subsystems. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and validation of test equipment supporting cutting-edge space hardware within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. Profil Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience with electronic circuit design. Experience with PCB design. Strong ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Interest in laboratory testing and hands-on engineering work. Experience with DipTrace or similar PCB CAD tools (asset). Knowledge of stepper motors and motor drives (asset). Programming experience in Python or VBA (asset). Experience with microcomputing platforms ((asset). Familiarity with PSoC programming (asset). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio. Bilingual (French and English). ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS : Ability to obtain and maintain Reliability Status security clearance; Eligibility for Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR compliance. Your responsibilities

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop test equipment used for satellite electronic subsystems.
Participate in the design and development of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).
Support functional and validation testing of satellite electronic units.
Design and support the manufacturing of electrical test equipment and cable harnesses.
Produce engineering documentation, including electrical schematics, assembly drawings and bills of materials (BOM).
Assist in the development of test procedures and technical analyses.
Support the procurement, fabrication, integration, and validation of test equipment.
