The role

Kollabtek is looking for a tests, verification and validation engineer to join a team based in Sainte-Claire. In this role, you will work with multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex products (vehicles, embedded systems and industrial equipment). This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of products from initial development through to field validation. Profil Degree in electrical, mechanical engineering or equivalent (software, mechatronics, automated production). Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible. 0 to 8+ years of experience in testing, validation or system integration. Knowledge of electrical and/or electronic control interfaces. Knowledge of Embedded Systems and Communications Systems (CAN, J1939). Knowledge of SAE, CSA, FMVSS/MVSS standards (asset). Knowledge of IPEmotion, MatlabPython, DIAdem, Vector CANalyzer (asset). Experience in a manufacturing environment or transportation (asset). Experience in instrumentation, calibration or test benches (asset). Rigour, autonomy, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and resourcefulness. Willing to travel occasionally depending on projects. Bilingual (French, English). Your responsibilities

Plan and execute testing and validation activities (test benches, prototypes).
Verify system compliance with functional requirements and applicable standards.
Configure and program data acquisition systems and test interfaces.
Analyze test results, diagnose issues, and recommend technical solutions.
Support integration of electrical, electronic, and control systems.
Contribute to test automation and continuous improvement of V&V methods.
Prepare clear and structured technical reports.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, production, and suppliers.
